Best steel swords for beginners in The Witcher: Wild Hunt (and how to get them)!

In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt all witchers already start carrying two swords: a steel one, to fight humans, humans and animals in general; and a silver one, to finish off the race of monsters and unholy creatures. Although at first they seem sufficient, soon they are too weak and you realize that you will not be able to go through with them.
But already at the beginning of the campaign you can find the blueprints for two very strong blades, which means they are perfect for the beginning of the journey. These are the serpentine swords, which are part of the Vibora's school set. Below are the instructions for obtaining them:

  1. Let's start at the White Orchard tavern. Go back the way you found the merchant attacked by the griffin, go back a little further through the wooded area and up the small rise in scenery to the left. You will find a sloping brick column, giving access to a higher area. Climb up there to find a camp of rather weak bandits (varies between levels 1 and 2). Finish them off and collect the items available in the boxes and chests, where you will find the diagram of the steel sword from the Viper School set.

  2. The diagram of the second sword is in the white orchard graveyard. Proceed with caution, because outside the church there is a level 7 apparition ready to end your spree. If your level is still too low, try to avoid the ghost's attacks by dodging or staggering, alternating with two or three weak sword strikes. After taking some damage, the ghostly creature will flee into the interior of the church. Enter there and descend to the basement, where you must finish the job and put an end to the afterlife of the apparition. Use your witch senses or light as torches on the walls to find some bodies. Scour them to find the silver sword diagram from the Viper School set.

To forge both swords, you will need the following tools:

Steel sword

1x Leather straps - buy them or disassemble armor or leather parts
1x Iron ingot - buy them or dismantle armor or weapons and forge the ingots for the blacksmith
1x Emerald Dust - kill apparitions until you get this item (or spend a fortune buying it from a merchant)
1x Poison Extract - Get Coal Killing

Silver sword

1x Leather straps - buy them or disassemble armor or leather parts
2x Silver ingots - buy them or dismantle silver weapons or items and forge the silver ingots at the blacksmith
1x Emerald Dust - kill apparitions until you get this item (or spend a fortune buying it from a merchant)
1x Poison Extract - Get Coal Killing

Take these items to the blacksmith in Nilfgaard's army camp in the north of the map. In addition to the ingredients, you will also need 120 crowns to forge these two beauties.
