Witcher 3 Community Builds
Witcher 3 builds made by players with the Gamestegy Build Planner: skills, mutagens, mutations and gear for the Remastered skill tree. Open any build to view it in the planner.
Use igni(crowd)/firestream(single target) to reduce enemy armor and thus increase damage. Use a mix of fast attacks(for crits which also increase damage dealt to enemy via crippling strike skill) and strong attacks(which further reduce enemy armor via sunder skill). All other skills, gear, runes, glyphs, and potions focus on crit chance(for crippling strike) igni intensity(you’ll use it to reduce armor so it doesn’t hurt if it does damage too), or bleed(a nice bonus thrown in with wolven set). If left blank feel free to use whatever as it isn’t important to the build.
Ursine Armor and Combat Tank build with focus on Quen and Aard
signs combo, all your signs are strong, use them all to stack chain reaction, very fun and op. You can drink 3 decoctions and 2 potions at a same time but personally its strong af without drinking anything. Adrenaline you got two paths. If you like a bit of sword play get resonance like me or adrenaline burst for full caster My fav combination are trolls, ekidna, lenshen, and petri then blizzard when i got 3 adrenaline bars. Just nuke them. I dodge like shit, if your skill is better feel free to put resolved away. The bombs are optional bit they were buff by your skills. I technically also have another chest piece with entanglement. I use all 5 during combat. I think its way stronger and fun than just spamming 1 sign
This build is focused on the new Resonance skill. Over half our skill points go into signs and most of our gear is devoted to sign intensity but Resonance allows us to have a play style where we weave sword strikes and signs together. The Griffin armor set bonus and the mutation play into the existing synergies of this build very well, but it relies on neither so this build is perfect for a fresh run where you won't be getting those effects until well into Toussaint. The basic rotation of the build is to alternate between a sign and 3 sword strikes. Even early game Yrden will allow you to land your strike easily and safely. Upon unlocking the Catalyst skill your damaging signs will receive a buff against targets in the affected area. Once you unlock the Entangled runeword it will allow the alternate Yrden cast to quickly blanket the battlefield in Yrden zones, making the existing strategies even easier to execute. And then finally once you have the gear set bonus the Yrden zones will get even bigger and give you even more buffs. I am currently testing Runeword: Elation on the sword to complement the Flood of Anger skill. It is possible that Flood of Anger isn't better than Crippling Strikes with sign intensity runestones. Also thinking about replacing Synergy with Adrenaline Burst, might also synergize with Flood of Anger nicely
Engame build to prepare for Songs of the Past
