The Sacred Heart is an Amulet found in Dragon Age 2. These items can be obtained through quests, found in chests, looted from enemies, etc. They provide bonus stats for the main character and some of the companions

The Sacred Heart - How to obtain

During the last quest in Act 2 - Demands of the Qun, you will encounter Grey Wardens. If Alistair did not become king or drunkard he will be leading a group of Grey Wardens.

By helping them Alistair will reward Hawke with this amulet
