Chain of the Penitent is an Amulet found in Dragon Age 2. These items can be obtained through quests, found in chests, looted from enemies, etc. They provide bonus stats for the main character and some of the companions

Chain of the Penitent - How to obtain

To obtain the amulet you will have to complete the quest Altar of Dumat.

This requires collecting four offerings:

• Crown of Dumat is found on Farele's Floor look for a side room on the east side
• Dumat's Sacrificial Dagger is found on Farele's Floor. Check all the rooms in the north
• Dumat's Ritual Scroll is close to the Altar of Dumat in the Tower Base.
• Sacred Urn of Dumat is near the Altar of Dumat where you will fight a group of spiders and deepstalkers. This happens on the Tower base.
