Mage's Friend

Mage's Friend is a Shield found in Dragon Age 2. These items can be obtained through quests, found in chests, looted from enemies, etc. They provide bonus stats for the main character and some of the companions

The Exiled Prince DLC

The shield is available with the DLC. In Act 3 you will have Sebastian's companion quest - Faith.

During it, you will enter Viscount's Keep at night where you will be able to loot it from the enemies.

This is one of the most powerful shields in the game as it comes with 3 runes and a very high armor rating.
