Shield of the Knight Herself is a Shield found in Dragon Age 2. These items can be obtained through quests, found in chests, looted from enemies, etc. They provide bonus stats for the main character and some of the companions

Shield of the Knight Herself - How to obtain

The shield can be obtained during the main story quest Offered and Lost. it is looted in Ser Varnell's Refuge.

Once you have the shield you need to gift it to Aveline in the barracks.

During the dialogue just do not take the shield back and Aveline will keep it to herself. She will then equip it automatically or it will appear in the inventory
