Sketch's Resplit-Shaft is a Staff found in Dragon Age 2. These items can be obtained through quests, found in chests, looted from enemies, etc. They provide bonus stats for the main character and some of the companions

Sketch's Resplit-Shaft - How to obtain

The quest can be started in Hightown near the chantry. Look for a Chanter's Board which will give you the quest.

The quest requires killing a group of enemies:

• Lowton - day. Kill Antivan assasssins near the Alienage
• Hightown - night. Kill enemies near Hightown Square, near the stairs to the Viscount's Keep.
• Gallows Courtyard - kill Qunari squad, that is found close to the Herbalist shop in a newly opened up section
• Darktown - a group of dwarves in the furthermost section called Abandoned Mining Tunnels
• The Hanged Man - night. A group of enemies can be found upstairs.
