Certainty is a Greatsword found in Dragon Age: Inquisition. These items can be obtained through quests, found in chests, looted from monsters, etc. They provide bonus stats for the main character and some of the companions

During the main story quest What Pride Had Wrought, you will encounter Samson. If you decide to defeat him you will be rewarded with this greatsword
Certainty - Notes
It is important that you would side with the Mages earlier in the game. During the Templar path, Samson does not appear
