Prismatic Greataxe Schematic - How to obtain

You will need to have Trespasser DLC

Here are the steps to obtain the weapon:

1. Meet Frederic, the dragon researcher in Western Approach.
2. Complete his side quests until you will have the fight with Abyssal High Dragon.
3. After you defeat it, you can recruit Frederic to join Inquisition.
4. Once he joins, then go to Emprise du Lion and complete Breeding Grounds side quest that requires you to take out three Dragons.
5. Once the side quest is done you can do a War Table operation: Learn More about Dragons.

After you finish the war table operation, the schematic will be the reward

Prismatic Greataxe Schematic - Notes

This weapon has important mechanics that makes it exceptional compared to other weapons:

• Each hit deals additional elemental damage of 100% for basic attack
• For abilities, the elemental damage will match that of the skill. So Pommel Strike deals 600% weapon damage, this additionally adds 600% elemental damage
• With this mechanic, this weapon can be the most powerful in the game based on pure damage. However, it may be weak if enemies have high elemental resistances
