Corrupted Magister's Staff is a Staff found in Dragon Age: Origins. These items can be obtained through quests, found in chests, etc. They provide bonus stats for the main character and some companions
Corrupted Magister's Staff - How to obtain
To obtain the staff you will need Return to Ostagar DLC.
Early in the game when you are in Ostagar, do not take the key from the prisoner. Later on, when you return to Ostagar the key will be found on its corpse and then use it to open Mage's Chest.
The chest is close to where the Circle of Magi camp was

Staff is quite powerful especially for Blood Mages who use Blood Wound or other Spirit damage-based attacks.
