Duncan's Shield is a Heavy Shield found in Dragon Age: Origins. These items can be obtained through quests, found in chests, etc. They provide bonus stats for the main character and some companions
Duncan's Shield - How to obtain
The shield is found in the Grey Warden Vault in Denerim.
To reach the Vault these steps need to be done:
- In Arl of Denerim's Estate when you are doing Rescue the Queen quest, find Grey Warden Documents. Check all the places, it should be close to the Dungeon entrance.
- Then when you meet Riordan ask him about the papers and he will tell you about the vault.
- After you get back to Arl Eamon's Estate talk to Riordan so that he could tell you more about the Vault.
- Go to the Warehouse in Denerim Market District close to Wonders of Thedas shop
- You can then access the vault in the warehouse where you will find the shield.
- Once you have the shield gift it to Alistair and it becomes equipable
Duncan's Shield - Notes
- You obtain the shield quite late in the game. Due to this it is not as good as some other options, that you can get earlier
