M-300 Claymore is a Shotgun. It is an effective weapon in close range where it deals large damage. They also come with a slow fire rate.

M-300 Claymore - Description

Very rare krogan shotgun. Deals high damage at short range; less effective at long range. Effective against armor, shields, and biotic barriers. It is of human design but is only used by krogan, due to the fact that the kickback from a single shot has enough force to break a human's arm. Protected by Fabrication Rights Management (FRM) technology, this weapon is nearly impossible to reproduce and is prohibitively expensive.

M-300 Claymore - How to obtain

• During Collector Ship Mission if played as Soldier or Vanguard. This mission is available mid-game sometime after you finish the Horizon mission.
• Research after you have recruited Grunt. When talking about the upgrades with him, he will share information about it.

• The weapon fire rate can be increased by performing a melee attack when you hear a click sound after shooting. This is called reload canceling.
