Flare is a Biotic Power in Mass Effect 3. These abilities are used by Adepts and allow them to manipulate biotic fields. They can be both offensive and defensive.

Flare - Progression

  • Increase force, damage, and impact radius of combo detonations by 50%.

  • Increase the damage done to shields and barriers by 75%.

Flare - Notes

  • It is extremely effective against barriers and deals 1.5x damage. However, it is weak against armor.
  • Use it only against primed enemies with Reave or Warp. This way it will cause a Biotic Explosion for maximum possible damage.
  • Have in mind that it has a long cooldown. This can greatly reduce offensive capabilities as you will not be able to use any other skills during that time
  • It is perfect to be used with Tactical Cloak and Adrenaline Rush to generate a fast recharge rate.
