Strategy

Here I will cover some important tips that can help you defeat Diablos easier

1. Sonic Bombs

Diablos mhr sonic bomb

Diablos is extremely weak to loud sounds. Due to this always take Sonic Bombs with you. When it is underground use the bombs to force it to the surface and get knocked out

2. Using environmental traps

There are two main ways:

When Diablos is charging try to position yourself between Pillars in Sandy Plains. His horns will get stuck in them

The second option is to use patches of sand and lure Diablos into them. You need to make it charge through them:

3. Breaking the Horns

This is important, this will greatly weaken Diablos' main attacks. As you can guess it mainly attacks with its Horns and they can deal large damage.

Each Horn that you break greatly reduces that damage and also gives bonus rewards.
