  • Flashbomb when he is flying

Strategy

The fight looks difficult when fighting him the first time. However, you can take these steps to make it easier

Break his Head

This will weaken his frost breath attacks.

Barioth ice tornado

The created tornadoes will do less damage and will make it much more manageable if you had difficulties with them

Break both of his claws

Once you break his claws the fight becomes quite easy. He will start losing ground after most of his attacks. This will make him less agile and you will have many openings for attacks.

Easy way to Punish his Signature attack

Barioth will do his signature move through the fight. Your hunter will notice you about it and also you will see the monster in this position:

It is enough just to roll one or two times to any side and his attack will miss. After that, you will have 3+ seconds opening to deal a few good hits. Keep your eyes open!
