June has been a wonderful month for gamers. From major events like the Summer Game Fest to the release of Destiny 2: The Final Shape, this month was one of the best in the gaming industry. Since there is only a week left in June, let’s take a look at what RPG games have July in store for us.

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail

For years, Final Fantasy XIV stood as a foundational game in massively multiplayer online role-playing games. The game’s next DLC, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, will expand its horizons even further by giving players more to explore and do than they could ever imagine.

This DLC will feature two new regions (Yok Tural and Xak Tural), new allied tribe quests, a new playable race (female Hrothgar), a new collaborative tool (the Strategy Board), and more. Also, it adds two new jobs: viper, a physical melee DPS who uses a dual-blade as a weapon, and pictomancer, a magical range DPS who uses a paintbrush and palette to paint magical elements.

Dungeons of Hinterberg

Microbird Games developed an enchanting action RPG called Dungeons of Hinterberg, set in a charming Alpine village. In this game, you play as a character named Luisa and explore dungeons full of ancient mysteries while solving complex puzzles and fighting magic beasts with customized skills and abilities. Players can also participate in various activities within the game, such as socializing with the inhabitants of this area.

Personally, this is my favourite pick of the bunch. Not only does it promise good gameplay and storyline, but also amazing graphics. Dungeons of Hinterberg has captivating and lively visuals influenced by traditional RPGs and contemporary indie gaming.
