Location - Shapeshifter's Boon Ring
Obtained from Strange Ox, he can be found in each Act in these locations:
- Act 1 - Druid's Grove, near a group of cows. Requires killing him or using the mechanic found by Reddit user Sextus_Rex - hide your party far away, for example in the prison. Summon Mage Hand and use it to attack the Ox. This will worsen the relationship with the caster, but not make them engage in combat. Only Mage Hand will be destroyed. Then, interact with the Ox, and buy the ring. You will also need to give some free gold to get back to normal relations.
- Act 2 - Last Light Inn, near Dammon's forge.
- Act 3 - in Rivington on the relinquished barn at the beginning of the area.
Killing the Ox in Act 1, will leave you out on one of the most powerful items - Hat of Fire Acuity that you can obtain in Act 2.
