Loot in the Underdark, from Bernard in the Arcane Tower.
Gale can absorb the Magic from this Item. If Gale consumes it, it vanishes forever. That is irreversible and unavoidable.
You may find this ring useless enough, but it opens secret doors in the tower. So only feed it, once you have found every floor in the tower.
