Altaroth - details, drops and where to find

Altaroth is a small monster found in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR). These monsters can be aggressive but also provide materials and items that can be carved from their bodies.

Altaroth Details and combat

These insects inhabit most of the game areas. They absorb local fruits, honey and mushrooms and take them to their nests.

Double drops

They should be attacked when their abdomens are swollen to get additional drops

Use blunt weapons

Altaroth as other insect like small monsters should be attacked using blunt weapons: hammer, canine weapon, shield. This will allow to stay their body to be intact for carving
