Location - Ring of Protection
Received as a reward from Mol for completing
Steal the Sacred Idol quest.
- The Idol of Silvanus can be found in the
Sacred Pool within the Druid Grove and can only be obtained by stealing it. - If you attempt to take the idol during the ritual, the druids will immediately turn hostile, attacking both your party and the Tieflings in the grove. However, if the ritual has already been halted (by either completing
Investigate Kagha or saving the grove from the Goblins), the druids will only react if you are caught in the act. - This quest must be started before the ritual ends, otherwise, the ring will not be rewarded.
- After stealing the idol, a druid may confront your party. Passing a Deception or Intimidation check allows you to avoid consequences. Alternatively, you can use Feign Death while the rest of the party remains away from the area; the druids cannot interrogate anyone, and the investigation ends shortly afterward.
- Stealing is also very easy while being covered in
Darkness or
Fog Cloud. After taking it, move to the camp and wait from a distance while they stop searching

Tiefling Hideout X: 84 Y: 73: Rewarded by Mol for completing the quest Steal the Sacred Idol in the Emerald Grove
The idol is found in the Sacred Pool of the Druid Grove X: 241 Y: 510. It can only be obtained via stealing.
Normally, stealing this item will cause the druids to immediately become hostile and attack both the party and the Tieflings in the Druid Grove.
If the idol is stolen after the ritual has been stopped (either by completing Investigate Kagha or by saving the grove from the Goblins), the druids do not automatically become hostile if you are not caught in the act.
This quest has to be started before stopping the ritual or it will not be offered.
Shortly after stealing the idol one of the druids will interrogate the party. Passing a Deception or Intimidation check will let the party get away.
Alternatively, if the robber casts Feign Death on themselves, and every other party member is nowhere near, the druids will not be able to interrogate anyone and the investigation ends shortly after.
This ring is obtained by stealing the Idol in the Grove and giving it to Mol.
