How to unlock expeditions? - Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is really time consuming with its material grinding. However, at Adventure rank 14 you unlock new mechanic: Expeditions.

To unlock this feature you need to go to Mondstadt city and talk with Katheryne:

After this you will be able to enter new window, where you can select expedition areas. You should be going for 20 hours, as this gives the most valuable resources. I would also suggest sending companions which you do not use much, in my case this was: Noelle and Lisa

After the exploration ends you can go back and claim your rewards
