[Overview]

Barbara, the “idol” in the magazine, a hydro healer, a sweet helper, and a good chief in Mondstadt. Barbara uses the Catalyst as her weapon. Her songs are the healing magic. Even though she is a four stars “idol”, she gains lots of claps from others.

 [Skills]

Skill Talent	Details
Normal Attack  Whisper of Water	Normal Attack Maximum four Hydro splashes attacks. Charged Attack Consuming stamina and causing AoE Hydro damage. Plunging attack Attacking in the path of falling, and causing Hydro damage when landing.
Elemental Skill  Let the Show Begin	Summons the pulsating water Loop with Hydro DMG and Hydro status on enemies. Melody Loop Cure the team once Barbara’s normal attacks hit. The healing amount is depended on Barbara’s maximum health. Charged Attack generates 4 times of the whole healing. Every 5s, restores the HP of the current character. Put a Hydro state to the character and the enemies nearby.
Elemental Burst  Shining Miracle	Restore a large amount of HP for the team. The amount is relied on Barbara's maximum HP.

 [Weapon Choice]

Since Barbara is only a healer and a Hydro support, it is not necessary to use a 5 stars’ weapon on her.

3 stars’ Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is good enough.

If you have extra gold and items, the 4 stars Prototype Amber from crafting is a good choice.

Weapon	Details
Prototype Amber (Craft)	Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 4 Energy every 2s for 6s. All party members will regenerate 4% HP every 2s.
Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers (Wish)	After switching characters, the new character taking the field has their ATK increased by 24% for 10s. This effect only occurs every 20 s.

 [Artifacts Sets]

Barbara’s HP determines the amount of healing. The Artifacts should focus on:

1. HP %
2. HP Flat
3. Energy Recharging

Basic (Obtaining difficulty is low, only for transition):

  2 The Exile Set + 2 Adventurer Set+ 1 Free

• The Exile Set
• Adventurer Set

Advanced (Obtaining difficulty is low, only for transition):

• 4 Maiden Set (4 stars) + 1 Healing Bonus

Premium:

• 4 Maiden Set (5 stars) + 1 Healing Bonus

Artifact	Details
Maiden Beloved	2-Piece Set: Increases Healing by 15% 4-Piece Set: Using an Elemental Skill or Burst, increase 20% Healing for 10s. 【Farm Location】 Valley Of Remembrance, Mondstadt
The Exile (Max 4 stars)	2-Piece: Energy Recharge +20%. 【Farm Location】 All bosses. Such as: Fatui, Mages, Ruin Hunters, and Mitachurls.
Adventurer (Max 3 stars)	2-Piece: Max HP increased by 1000. 【Farm Location】 Boss: Pyro Regisvine, Oceanid Domain: Midsummer Courtyard, Mondstadt

 [Team Build]

Barbara is a strong Support in the team. She can:

• provide healing.
• give Elemental Reactions.
• Increase ATK (only when using the weapon “Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers”).

Basic: *(If you are totally f2p, and no extra good characters for Barbara at the moment)

Barbara	Xiangling	Kaeya	Fischl

This party can Freeze, Eletro-Charge, Vaporize, Overload, and Superconduct.

Barbara	Anemo Traveler	Fischl	Xiangling

The anemo Traveler can provide the swirl.

Better Choice: *(if you play for a long time and get more characters)

Barbara	Razor	Bennett	Kaeya

Bennett and Razor are not the free characters, once you get them and have higher Constellations, I prefer to use them to replace the Basic one.

Barbara	Xinyan / Beidou	Fischl	Kaeya

Xinyan, Beidou can give the shield.

Tips: Noelle, Diona can give the shield and Healing.

• But since Barbara is already the Healer, I suggest equipping the Damage or Energy Recharging Artifacts on the other healers.

Best Choice: (combine with the 5 stars characters)

Healer	Main DPS	Support 1	Support 2
Barbara	Diluc/ Xiao/ Ganyu	Albedo / Venti	Zhongli

Diluc, Xiao, and Ganyu are the high damage dealers and the elemental reactions are Frooze, swirl, or vaporize.

Zhongli's shield can protect the DPS.

Albedo/ Venti can collect enemies or release dmg AoEs while attacking.

Tips: 

• Barbara and Qiqi are good healers, but the more continuous Healing they do, the less damage Hutao will do. I don’t recommend putting them together.
• She gets you frozen when you have to deal with Cyro attacks is literally the biggest reason why she is benched if you have any other options for heals.

However, there are more options for buildings.
