Best Weapons
His shield strength is based on his HP.
For choosing his weapon, we should focus on HP%.

If you build Zhongli as a Support, this one is helpful. It gives high Energy Recharge. For matching this weapon, please use all artifacts that with HP as the main stats. Obtain: Wish |

 Kitain Cross Spear |
The elemental mastery stat doesn't work on Zhongli. This one is good on Yunjin or Thoma, but not a good choice on Zhongli. Obtain: Craft |
 Deathmatch |
The best four stars weapon. But you need to pay for it. If you want to build Zhongli as the main DPS, and not going to pull the five stars weapons, this one is perfect. Obtain: Battle Pass |
 Staff of Homa |
If you are building Zhongli as a support, and not going to pull other five stars weapons, this one is good on Zhongli. The sub status can increase the HP. But this weapon only appears when Hutao is released. If it comes again in the future, travelers can try to get one. It could be also good for Thoma, Raiden, Rosaria, Xiangling, Xiao, and Hutao. C0 is enough for F2P. Obtain: Wish |
 Primordial Jade Winged-Spear |
Good on Zhongli, if you don't have another five stars weapon. It needs Zhongli's artifacts with high "HP", otherwise, this one is only perfect for Xiao. Obtain: Wish |

The best five stars weapon on Zhongli. It increases 20% shield strength and ATK damage. C0 is enough for the F2P. Obtain: Wish |

- Crit DMG
So I suggest using:

Best:
- Building Zhongli as a Sub DPS: 4 Tenacity (5 stars) + 1 HP
- Building Zhongli as a Support: 4 Nobless Oblige + 1 HP
- Building Zhongli as a Support: 4 Emblem of Severed Fate +1 HP
*Upon a time, Nobless 4 sets were good on Zhongli. Till now, the Emblem of Served Fate is better in 2022 and 2023. But if you have the Nobless already, just use it on Zhongli, because the differences are not so strong.
