Raiden Shogun Best Weapon Selection and Choice | Polearms Comparison - Genshin Impact

In Genshin impact 2.1, we will have a new weapon, "The Catch". Since some travelers have already prepared some nice Polearms for Raiden Shogun, which one could be best for her? I collected and calculated some information here. Hope it could be helpful for you.

Raiden Shogun Weapon Choice

Engulfing Lightning (Raiden Shogun Weapon Banner)	Raiden Best Weapon. ATK increased. You can gain ATK, and Energy Recharge.
Skyward Spine (Wish)	Better than the other 4 stars Weapons. Increases CRIT Rate and Normal ATK SPD.
"The Catch" (Event)	The best 4 stars weapon for Raiden. Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 16% and Elemental Burst CRIT Rate by 6%.

 

The Catch, or Skyward Spine, which one is better for Raiden Shogun?

Special Ability	Increase Elemental Burst DMG by 32%, and EB Crit Rate by 12%.	Increases CRIT Rate by 8% and increases Normal ATK SPD by 12%. Additionally, Normal and Charged Attacks hits on opponents have a 50% chance to trigger a vacuum blade that deals 40% of ATK as DMG in a small AoE. This effect can occur no more than once every 2s.

After the calculation, only when Raiden Shogun uses Elemental burst, The Catch in Ascend 5 is better than the Skyward Spine A1, about 5%.

Normally, the Skyward Spine is better.

Conclusion

If you want to use Raiden Shogun as a dps+support:

Weapon: Engulfing Lightning ＞ Skyward Spine ＞ The Catch ＞ Favonius Lance. 

Artifacts: Eon needs Energy Recharge.

If you use Skyward Spine / The Catch need ATK Goblet better than Electro Goblet.

*Crafting weapons are not good for Raiden Shogun, because they couldn't give Raiden energy recharge and cannot make her useful in the team.
